2004 A new series of photographic works, 2004. Transparent photographs from a waterfall, framed in Plexiglas casings.
The six photographs depict one of the many waterfalls that form the magnificent terrace waterfall Dynkur in river Thjorsa. The future existence of these waterfalls is extremely precarious because of plans of changing the flow of the river in order to produce electricity.
Measurement of series; 180 x 118 x 8,5 cm Exhibited at colette, Paris, 2004.
A multi media installation, with photographs developed on transparent film, and sound, 2003. The photographs are taken from two of a series of waterfalls that together form the awesome terrace waterfall Dynkur in the river Thjorsa. The audio is composed of the recorded sound of the same waterfalls. The title refers to the mass of the flowing water. At the time of the creation of the artwork there were plans to create dams and a water reservoir in the river that would have seriously damaged the over 40 meter high waterfalls.
The photographs are fitted between two sheets of glass in a stainless steel construction. The audio can be either played from an audio system or it can be carried through a wireless headset, so that one can freely move around the installation while listening to the "voice" of the waterfall.
Exhibited at the exhibition Zahlen – Zeit - Zeichen, in Galerie Van der Koelen, Mainz, Germany, 2003, location of photo: Cologne Artfair 2003
