TILEINKUN / DEDICATION
2006

Dedication is a performance and installation that was performed at Drekkingarhylur, the Drowning Pool, at Thingvellir in Iceland on September 5th. 2006, in connection with the exhibition Mega Vott. The work is a dedication to the memory of the girls and women that were sentenced to death for becoming pregnant outside wedlock, in the seventeenth and eighteenth century, and were executed by drowning in the pool.

ELEGY - Yugoslavia Why?
2000-2006

A video work based on a visit to Kroatia, Bosnia Herzegovina and Serbia in the beginning of 1998. The aftermath of the war or armed conflicts is everywhere when the camera travels through streets and ruined buildings.

Photographs of waterfalls that are disappearing into a vast water reservoir at the Karahnjukar dam and of others that will be greatly affected by the damming.
